In 1974, when she was 18, she bought her first new motorcycle, a Kawasaki g-5 100cc. In 2000 Carolyn started riding mostly on the street and enrolled in many classes and track days to help her hone her skills. . Riding overseas is a passion of hers including trips to Europe, Italy, Africa and the Alps. Currently, Carolyn rides a Triumph Tiger 800 or a SV 650.

**Susan Gore accidentally became a motorcycle rider, at age 50, when she agreed to join a CHP Motorcycle Safety Course to keep a friend company in 2010. Despite her friend not showing up for the class, Susan got hooked by counter steering and became a regular rider. She currently rides a sapphire blue, 2008 Yamaha FZ6 and enjoys long getaway rides on the curvy back roads of obscure parts of California, Oregon and Nevada with wonderful friends.
